Associated Press - June 7, 2009 6:35 PM ET

OMAHA, Neb. (AP) - Severe storms are revving up for another round, this time in southeast Nebraska.

A tornado warning was issued late Sunday afternoon for Pawnee and Richardson counties and the storm was expected to move east from there.

A tornado watch, meanwhile, remains in effect until 11 p.m. Sunday for 13 eastern Nebraska counties. That includes the cities of Omaha, Lincoln, Beatrice and Nebraska City.

Storms moved through portions of the Panhandle earlier Sunday. The National Weather Service said a tornado struck open country in Banner County about 15 miles northwest of Harrisburg around 1:10 p.m. MDT. There were no reports of damage.
