The Dundy County Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce that The Rumbles will be visiting Benkelman! That's right, the most popular and successful rock-and-roll dance band in the Midwest will be right here, in Benkelman on Friday, September 18th.

This year there will be a street dance on Main Street featuring The Rumbles in conjunction with the annual Fall Fest and Car Show. Not only do you get to see some of the fanciest cars in the Midwest, but you also have a unique opportunity to enjoy some of the best musical entertainment in the tri-state area!

Rumble with a cause...  The Rumble on the River is a Breast Cancer Benefit co-sponsored by the Dundy County Hospital and the Dundy County Chamber of Commerce. The benefit is intended to raise awareness of the need for early measures to detect breast cancer, especially self-examination, to pursue aggressive treatment options and to encourage the establishment of support networks to assist individuals and families through the treatment process. All proceeds from the Benefit will go directly to the Dundy County Hospital to be used to upgrade its breast cancer screening facilities.

Mark it on your calendar, because The Rumbles will be in Benkelman Friday, September 18th and will be playing 8 to 12 PM right on Main Street!

DCH Breast Cancer Awareness Walk
Where: Dundy County Hospital

Walkers will proceed down through downtown Benkelman and there will be a short ceremony at the Veteran's memorial dedicating a tree that is being planted there in honor of breast cancer.  The walk will conclude back at Dundy County Hospital.  There will be motorized transportation for any who wish to participate, but are unable to walk that far.
