OMAHA, Neb. (AP) - A college at the University of Nebraska at Omaha is celebrating its centennial by kicking off a speaker series.
UNO's College of Arts and Sciences will welcome speakers over the next year in a series that highlights the college's departments and alumni.
UNO graduate and Creighton University associate professor of theology Nicolae Roddy will be the first speaker. Roddy's Wednesday presentation will examine world religions and the global community.
Sam Walker, a UNO emeritus professor of criminal justice, will follow on Thursday. His speech will examine great presidential speeches that were never given.
