OMAHA, Neb. (AP) - A 42-year-old Omaha man is free on bond after being charged with sexual assault of a child.
The allegations against Scot Shales date back at least seven years.
Shales is the lead singer of the Omaha band "Hard Attack." A police report says the alleged victim is the son of a woman described as 1 of Shales' former girlfriends. The woman told police assaults took place when Shales lived with her.
Shales' attorney, James Martin Davis, said his client "doesn't know where the charge is coming from."
Shales is scheduled to make his first court appearance next month.
