KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) - Kansas City police are investigating the deaths of a woman and her son as a murder-suicide.

Police identified them Monday as 73-year-old Patricia A. Kuder and 53-year-old Michael Roscher.

Their bodies were discovered around 12:30 p.m. Sunday after officers were sent to the home where they lived. A relative had asked police to check on the mother and son after not hearing from them for nearly two weeks.

Final determinations on how the two people died are pending.
