LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - The Great Plains Art Museum at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln will present an exhibition of black & white photography by self-taught photographer John Evasco (uh-VAS-co) this fall.

The exhibition will depict residents of the Great Plains in their life and work.
Evasco travels with his equipment and never stages his portraits. He photographs his subjects as he first encounters them.
The Great Plains Art Museum is located at 1155 Q St. in Lincoln and is open to the public from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, and 1:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sundays.
There is no admission charge.
