OMAHA, Neb. (AP) - Corrections officials say a 61-year-old Omaha man under house arrest has died and an investigation is under way.
A family member found Clarence Vaughn Jr. unresponsive Thursday morning. Vaughn was taken to an Omaha hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
He has been in custody since Friday to serve a 45-day sentence on a second-offense driving-under-the-influence conviction.
The Douglas County Sheriff's Office is handling the investigation into the death, as required by state law.
