LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - A Columbus student has been named the winner of Nebraska's radon poster contest.
Charrissa Zverlein from Scotus Central Catholic High School designed the top entry. Her poster will be entered in the national contest sponsored by the National Safety Council and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
The state contest by the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services was open to students ages 9 to 14.
Runners-up were Lindsey Grahleer of Pender Public Schools and Amy Price, also from Scotus Central Catholic.
