A benefit for the Jesse and Kari Sharp family will be held December 13, 2009 at the Silver Lake Elementary School in Bladen.

Pancakes, sausage, eggs, juice and coffee will be served from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., with a free will donation being taken for the Sharp family.  Two of the Sharp's three young children have had open heart surgery.  Funds raised will go to defray medical and travel expenses while the children were in the hospital in Omaha. 

A raffle will also be held during the benefit.  Items to be raffled off include an autographed Nebraska football, Longaberger baskets, four Cornhusker basketball tickets, and a lawn aeration service.
