Fire broke out in a bullet factory early Wednesday morning.
It left only minor damage at Hornady Manufacturing. The fire was reported just before 5 a.m.
The rural fire chief says a vent stack overheated on lead-melting vats. That ignited insulation in the roof.
Because of sprinklers in the building, the damage was contained to that immediate location.
Hornady manufactures bullets and ammunition.
The plant is expanding, and just Tuesday night was awarded city incentives for that project.
