United States Senate candidate to Nebraska Mike Johanns visited NTV's Good Life to answer questions about what he intends to do if elected to the Senate and other political ambitions.
Our Community Correspondents posed these questions:
What are your plans on education? As far as budget cutting on the school systems. It's soo not right that the education of our children is put last any more. Say no all you want, but they are one of the first to get hit with the budget cuts. We are losing good teachers and cutting classes that our children need or enjoy. It's absolutely absurd that schools get cut. I'm sure that there are ALOT of other places that could take the cut. How are you going to help this situation?

You left the Governor's Office early. You left the Ag Secretary's Office early. If a better job offer comes along, will you leave Nebraskans high and dry again to advance your political career?

How do you plan on helping Nebraskan's children without health care?

1. As for budget cuts, what government funded agencies are going to give less funds to, to help balance the nation's deficits, if you're in office. 2. Nebraska may have one of the lowest rates of un-employment in the nation, but with the average yearly salary of over $33,000, what will you do to bring better jobs (higher paying jobs) to the state?
