LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - State officials are telling people to use up their paper food-stamp coupons soon, because stores will stop honoring them after June 17.
The Department of Health and Human Services has issued electronic food-stamp debit cards since 2002, but some old paper coupons are still in circulation.
The federal Food and Nutrition Act of 2008 set the expiration date for paper coupons.
