When was your school founded? 1883. The building served as the church, post office and also the school building.

When did it consolidate? 1992

What towns are your students from? Arapahoe consolidated with Holbrook, but we have students from Edison and Hendley as well.

How many students are in your school? 92

How many are in your band? 35

How many years has your band been attending the Harvest of Harmony? A long time!

What songs will the band be playing this year? "Animal," which was originally by the band Neon Trees.

Why did you choose those songs? The band was given three different marching song choices and "Animal" won the vote.

What previous awards has your band won? We have received a superior rating at district music contest for many years in a row; the NSBA Academic Achievement Award for a total band GPA of 3.75; the NMEA Participation Award for having 65 percent of the student body enrolled in music (band and choir).

Who is your queen candidate? Stephanie Shearer

Drum Major: Halle Stephens.

Assistant Drum Major: Sydney Henry

Band Director: Valerie Leising -- two years

Interesting facts or trivia: We take a small trip every year. We take all of the music students to the Orpheum in Omaha to see a musical at no cost to them. Our music fundraising pays for this.
