Kool-Aid Days is coming up, and now there's a fun new way to share in the excitement.
If you're a fan of the kid's activities at Kool-Aid Days, but don't necessarily like the long lines to participate, board members have a solution.
This year, a V.I.P club will take all the hassle out of waiting. On Friday night, all the games and photos will be held at the Hastings City Auditorium.
Organizers say it's a great way to get a head start on the weekend.
"We're hoping the V.I.P. club just gets people excited about the weekend, kind of a kick-off to the weekend, kind of a fun way of getting yourself organized," said event board member Jodi Jacobi. "This way if you come Friday night, you can spend all day Saturday on the giant inflatables."
Club memberships range from $25 to $500, which will help support the event.
Organizers are also still looking for volunteers to help this weekend.
Reporter's Notes: If you're interested in volunteering, you can call the Adams County Convention and Visitor's Bureau at (402) 461-2370.
