Windy conditions are fueling flames across the area, forcing fire fighters to brave dangerous conditions from outside to inside.

Around five Saturday evening, Shelton Fire Department was called to a house fire on 4th and "E" streets in Shelton.

There's no word yet on how the fire was started, but was serious enough to call Gibbon Fire for mutual aid. The house fire still remains under investigation.

About two hours later, Minden Fire Department was called to CSS Farms north of town for a structure fire. White smoke is seen here billowing out of a metal shed on the grounds.

NTV photographer on the scene witnessed firefighters trying to gain access on the west side of the building using a skil saw and pulling metal away for ventilation.

Crews from Axtell and Kearney were also called to the scene, and per scanner chatter, as of 9:30pm multiple crews were still on scene.

We'll have more information as it becomes available.

REPORTER'S NOTES: As of 10:15pm Saturday night, 5 fire crews from Minden, Axtell, Kearney, Wilcox and Hildreth remain on scene at the CSS Farm fire North of Minden.
