Professionals from across the state gathered at Central Community College to spread the word about the importance of solar energy.
The "Energize Nebraska" group believes in empowering the state with a sustainable energy future.
They received a grant from Nebraska Environmental Trust and are traveling across the state training a new generation of individuals in solar energy.
Participates have the opportunity to learn a wide variety about solar technologies from this seminar.
"The goal of the seminar is to educate a new generation of college instructors and installers, something that we don't have right now" Director/Founder of Energize Nebraska Ed Toribio says.
This class is free and is a great skill to have on a resume.
Within the next two months there will be several classes that you can attend.
