Police urge drivers to use caution, after a fresh snowfall creates slick road conditions.
Grand Island Police have responded to several accidents already today, including two near Second Street and Eddy.
In those cases, officers say other factors may be to blame, but the snow did make it difficult for police to respond.
Officer Scott Arnold said he could drive his patrol car only 25, even with lights and sirens on, because his tires were spinning in the snow.
Drivers should leave more room to brake, because roads are slick.
