What started as a basic remodeling project for a new ADA approved elevator, turns into whole new facility to help educate students for the next generation of communication.

The new Media Arts lab at Central Community College has taken on a whole new look. Now, students and instructors have three new audio labs, state of the art computer and lecture labs, and a photography studio.

Officials say these new upgrades will help all the way around.

"It's been able to give us are al leg up because quite honestly, we were to the point where keeping up with technology is almost impossible," said Media Arts instructor John Brooks. "But when you take a look at the jump we've made ahead of the game, I think we're going to be here, I think we're set, I think we're set for a while."

The new facility will be available to tour during the Media Arts Art Show open house on Sunday, February 26th from 1pm-3pm.
