Cluster's Bar and Grill in Saint Edward was on its last leg. Shut down last week by the health inspector for violations, many wondered if the local watering hole would stay closed for good.
It was a sad day, said Brian Zabka, because it used to be his grandma's bar. "I could see the disappointment on her face when she walked in," he said. Now he hopes to turn Cluster's back into the jewel is family polished.
It took twenty years for clusters to get back into family hands and over 70 hours of cleaning to get it back to code. He said it was worth the work, because the town deserves it.
Zabka now rents Cluster's with his cousin.
