Tonight for our Sunday Salute we head to Kansas at Fort Riley. This is where Jeremiah Smith from Saint Paul, Nebraska is currently living.

His mother Peggy Griffin nominated Jeremiah, this is what she had to say:

I would like to thank Sergeant Jeremiah Smith for his continued service to his country. He has served 4 tours overseas with the first right after 9/11. His major sacrifice was missing the births of both of his daughters and missing over 4 years of their lives. He unselfishly fought for their freedoms and those of all of us while watching them grow up through pictures.
