Two North Platte men are in jail and the search is on for a female accomplice after police say they broke into the home of one of the men's estranged wife Monday and beat several people with a metal pipe.
Authorities say James Horn, 22, Johnathan Loving, 19, and Cortney Lopez, 23, went into the home of Horn's estranged wife on the 2800 block of Rodeo Road in the early morning hours Monday, and the two men assaulted three people while Lopez acted as an accomplice.
Police say Horn used a metal pipe to beat the victims.
When authorities arrived on the scene, one male victim was standing outside with blood running down his face, chest and back, and several other people inside the house, including two more victims.
The suspects had left the area.
Police haven't named the victims or said whether or not Horn's estranged wife was one of them.
Horn and Loving were found a short time later.
Horn is charged with two counts of felony second-degree assault and use of a weapon to commit a felony.
Loving is charged with felony aiding and abetting second-degree assault, third-degree assault, second-degree trespassing and resisting arrest.
Police are still looking for Lopez. She faces charges of aiding and abetting second-degree assault, third-degree assault and second-degree trespassing.
