Ashley Furniture HomeStore to Provide More Children with Safe, Cozy Beds of Their Own
"A Hope to Dream" Kids' Bed Deliveries Underway for Children in Need
Kearney and Grand Island NE (May 28, 2012) - Ashley Furniture HomeStore's (http://www.ashleyfurniturehomestore.com) A Hope to Dream program, which was founded in 2010, is aiming to provide new Ashley-SleepTM mattress sets to even more children in need with its latest round of deliveries.
Since the program began last year, Ashley has made a $5 quarterly donation to A Hope to Dream for every mattress purchased by customers. These donations go toward purchasing new kids' beds for less fortunate children, who are nominated by local community members.
"Every child should have a warm, safe place to sleep each night. Unfortunately, too many kids lack this fundamental need." says Ed Berglund, president, Ashley Furniture HomeStore. "We are proud to be two of the almost 200 Ashley Furniture HomeStores nationwide whose goal it is to donate 4000 mattress sets to needy kids in 2012. The money raised in the Tri-Cities will be given back 100% to the kids in the Tri-Cities. We are to be donating our first 10 beds this week. We will make deliveries of beds once a quarter year round. "
Winning nominations are chosen based on originality, need and expression of thought. The next selection will be in the last week of July, with winners notified the first week of August 2011.
Those wishing to nominate a child can visit one of our stores or request an electronic application by emailing AHopeToDream@ashleyfurniture.com. You may also fill out an application on-line at www.AHopetoDream.com.
