Addie, a 14 year old who is about to start her freshman year in High School was recently diagnosed with Medulloblastoma which is a type of brain cancer. She had surgery to remove the tumor from her cerebellum and she began radiation on June 18th of this year in Omaha.

The community in Axtell is coming to together and holding a benefit on her behalf to help cover costs. If you would like to help Addie out you can attend the benefit this Saturday, July 7th. It will start at noon at the Community Building in Axtell.

Serving Sloppy Joe's and much more. Free will donation. There will be a live and silent auction and a couple of the items to be raffled off include: I-Pad, Husker package of 2-50 yard line ticket to the Nebraska- Southern Miss game along with a two night stay in the Husker Suite at the Settler Inn in Lincoln, a Schwinn Bike, Kindel Fire, and much more.

If you are unable to attend you can make donations on behalf of Addie Samuelson at the First National Bank in Holdrege, NE.
