The 18th Biennial Nebraska Products Show for Business and Industry is headed to Grand Island.
The largest business and industry show in Nebraska and the Midwest is coming to Grand Island for the first time on October 3rd through the 4th. Held at Fonner Park in the Exhibition Building, the Products Show is both a marketplace and technical center.
Suppliers and vendors will be able to display their products, materials, and services for area users and buyers.
"The Nebraska Products Show for Business and Industry had been in Lincoln the previous 32 years. Exhibitors and attendees have wanted a show in central Nebraska for many years," said Robert P. "Bob" Mancuso, CEO of Mid-America Expositions, Inc. and the show's producer.
"The diversity of the products and services that will be on display at Fonner Park, as well as the convenience of finding vendors all in one place, makes the Nebraska Products Show a great showcase for Midwest industry, alternating with the Omaha Products Show on even numbered years," said Mancuso.
New at the Products Show will be the Job and Career Pavilion, Technology Pavilion and the Safety, Health, and Wellness Pavilion. These Pavilion's showcase improvements and new products in their respective areas.
The Products Show Summit will highlight seminars on business topics as well as industrial sessions.
The show is sponsored by the Institute of Supply Management - Nebraska Chapter and targets Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, South Dakota and North Dakota.
The chapter has over 300 members who are the purchasers and buyers for many of the top companies in the state. They will host the opening luncheon which is being sponsored by the Grand Island Convention and Visitors Bureau.
Mancuso said, "The expo gives attendees the opportunity to see the latest in creativity and technology. Visitors will see demonstrations, collect literature, compare prices, and become acquainted with new suppliers all at one time."
