
Flip-flop Revamp and Repair
Sometimes the strap on your favorite flip-flop breaks, or maybe you just want to add some DIY spice to your shoes. This is a project perfect for those summer flip-flops!
*cut and discard straps on flip-flops
*2-strips of material 10X1in (you can leave rough edges, use sew on glue or fabric tack)
*fold strips in half and pull a loop through to top, pull through about an inch and knot it. Knot should fit in the divot of the shoe.
*next 2 strips of material are 2 and 1/2 by 24inches. Loop through toe piece and pull straight to the back of the flip flop as a reference.
*next 2 strips that are 12x1in: fold in half and cut ends to point. Loop around top strap and pull through holes. do this for both sides. Adjust the length to comfy.
*tie knots on bottom and use hot glue to secure the knots.
*add decoration or other details as you desire.
