90,000+ acres burned at Niobrara River Canyon - KHGI-TV/KWNB-TV/KHGI-CD-Grand Island, Kearney, Hastings

Over 90,000 acres have burned at the Niobrara River Canyon.  The fire has required the attention of dozens of fire crews.

The fire started in Brown County and spread quickly to Keya Paha county.

Officials report that residents in the town of Norden and south of NOrden have been evacuated from their homes and businesses.

Officials have not released information regarding injuries of victims.
