Local Residents React To Niobrara River Canyon Fire - KHGI-TV/KWNB-TV/KHGI-CD-Grand Island, Kearney, Hastings

As the smoke fills the air in North Central Nebraska, locals are trying to fill their pick-ups and cars with water and supplies for fire fighters.

Over 30 fire crews are currently fighting this fire, and volunteers from as far as Northeast Nebraska travel through the night to help as they can.
