A high school dance squad sets its sights on a once in a lifetime performance.
Members of the Grand Island Senior High "Islandaires" dance team are using their weekend wisely. They're raising money for a trip to Florida to dance at the 2013 Outback Bowl in January.
Not only will this help the 13 team members pay for airfare and expenses, but do something they're passionate about.
"For a lot of us it's going to be the high point in our dance career. We're all, it's a once in a lifetime thing no matter what," said "Islandaire" Katie Kovanda. "We're really excited and we dance because we love it, and going to Florida and doing what we love is just amazing."
The dance squad will be traveling with "Just For Kix" dance studio for the performance. Another fundraiser will be held July 29th at Grand Island's Hy-Vee gas station.
