(Kearney, Neb.) - Two Florida men are behind bars in Kearney after being stopped with nearly 16 pounds of marijuana on Interstate 80 Sunday.

Donnovan Woodberry, 21, Santa Rosa Beach, Fla., and a passenger in the vehicle, Justin Hicks, 18, Niceville, Fla., were arrested just before 8 p.m. Sunday when a Nebraska State Patrol trooper stopped their vehicle for speeding near the Odessa exit on I-80.

The trooper smelled marijuana coming from the vehicle and discovered 15.8 pounds of marijuana in plastic bags in a box in the trunk.

Woodberry -- the driver of the vehicle -- and Hicks were both lodged in the Buffalo County Jail each on a charge of possession of marijuana with intent to deliver.
