74-Year-Old Arapahoe Man Killed in Semi Crash - KHGI-TV/KWNB-TV/KHGI-CD-Grand Island, Kearney, Hastings

A 74-year-old Arapahoe man is dead after a semi accident near Loomis Monday.

Around 2:18 p.m. Monday, Keith Schwarz was driving a semi northbound on County Road G in Phelps County, seven miles north of Loomis, when he drove onto the shoulder, lost control and struck a power pole.

Schwarz was wearing a seatbelt, according to police.

The Nebraska State Patrol assisted at the scene.
