(Kearney, Neb.) - Four people are in jail after police seized 360 pounds of pot Wednesday during two routine traffic stops along Interstate 80.

Timothy Davis, 36, St. Clair Shores, Mich., and Joshua Sword, 36, Westland, Mich., are being held in the Hamilton County Jail on a charge of possession of marijuana with intent to deliver after a speeding violation led police to 30 pounds of marijuana in one of their vehicles.

Davis and Sword were stopped in separate vehicles near the Giltner exit on I-80 around 9 a.m. Wednesday morning. Davis was driving a Cadillac Escalade and Sword was driving a Kia Soul, but police say they were traveling together.

Davis gave consent to have his car searched. The drugs were found in the luggage rack on top of the Escalade.

In a separate traffic stop Wednesday afternoon, two Arizona residents were arrested with 330 pounds of pot.

James Villa, 42, and Brenda Noriega, 23, both of Tucson, Ariz., are being held in the Buffalo County Jail, each on a charge of possession of marijuana with intent to deliver.

Villa and Noriega were heading east on I-80 around 12:30 p.m. when they exited the interstate at the Shelton exit and were pulled over for not signaling their turn.

The officer that pulled over their Chevy Traverse had a drug dog with him that indicated there might be pot in the car.

The drugs were separated into bags and located in the trunk.
