
(Grand Island, Neb.) - Troopers with the Nebraska State Patrol, in conjunction with the Hall County Sheriff's Office, pulled over 52 vehicles and issued 43 citations during a night of special enforcement efforts in Hall County last weekend.
The special enforcement effort was designed to reduce the potential for alcohol-related crashes resulting in serious injury or death. The event took place in and around Hall County from Saturday night through Sunday morning.
A $2,000 grant from the Nebraska Office of Highway Safety helped fund the effort.
