Crews from four towns battled a fire near Shelton on Thursday.
The grass fire started around 3 p.m. northwest of Shelton, where officials say it burned between 250 and 300 acres.
Crews from Gibbon, Kearney, and Minden were called in to help battle the blaze, as well as the Buffalo Air Service who dropped water on the fire from above.
Officials say the fire is now contained, and is being monitored by nearby ranchers.
