This week, the Wienermobile will be driving across the state and visiting three different Sunmart locations in central Nebraska.
The Wienermobile will be in Holdrege Friday, Aug. 10, from 11 a.m.- 5p.m. Then it will be in Kearney Saturday, Aug. 11, from 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. The Wienermobile will round out its trip in Hastings on Sunday, Aug. 12, from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m.
At all 3 locations, the "hotdoggers," Jess Grillin' and Hot Diggity Holly will be taking digital postcards of families in front of the 27-foot-long Wienermobile, giving out coupons for Oscar Mayer's Selects line of food, and handing out the iconic wiener whistles.
Every year, Oscar Mayer recruits at campuses across the U.S. looking for soon-to-be college graduates who have a thirst for adventure and can truly cut the mustard.
They select 12 hotdoggers from over 1,200 applicants for this
one-year opportunity with Oscar Mayer to drive the fleet of six
Wienermobile vehicles.
Each team of two is assigned one of six regions across America to travel. After six months on the job, the "hotdoggers" get a new partner and a new region.
