
The Nebraska State Patrol will be conducting special enforcement activities in an effort to reduce the potential for serious injury and fatality crashes.
The special enforcement effort will begin Saturday night, Aug. 24 and continue into the early morning hours on Sunday, Aug. 25. Troopers will hold a DUI checkpoint and high visibility patrols in and around Platte County.
A $2,000 grant from
the Nebraska Office of Highway Safety is being used to help pay for the special enforcement effort.
