Great Plains Opry- Songwriting Contest - KHGI-TV/KWNB-TV/KHGI-CD-Grand Island, Kearney, Hastings

The Great Plains Opry is having a song-writing contest.

There are two divisions to enter, country and gospel, and the winners will receive a great prizes.

The first place winner in each category will receive:

• $100 in cash,
• Their song professionally recorded by world class Nashville studio musicians and singers,
• Song featured on the Great Plains Opry international album release,
• Song featured at the next Great Plains Opry show performance,
• A professional song analysis by Nashville music publishers, and
• A collection of Great Plains Opry 5 disc set.

All entries must be in by Dec. 1. And the cost to enter is $17.50 for one song and $12.50 for each song after that.
