Husker Harvest Days Starts Sept. 11

The 35th annual Husker Harvest Days show will be held Sept. 11-13 at its location west of Grand Island, and NTV will be there to chat with anyone that wants to stop by.

The show is recognized as the world's largest totally irrigated working farm show and features the most extensive state-of-the-art information and technology available for today's agricultural producers.

The country's top agribusinesses, plus many regional and local manufacturers and suppliers, are exhibitors.

There are also crops produced on site for field demonstrations and crop culture exhibits. Many irrigation systems are demonstrated during the show. The nation's top irrigation equipment and product suppliers are show exhibitors.

Farmers and ranchers from 28 states and several countries attend the show each year. Visitors have access to more than 600 exhibitors with agriculture's latest product introductions, meet face-to-face with company representatives and gain hands-on knowledge about the latest products and services for their farms and ranches.

Husker Harvest Days is located west of Grand Island, 1-1/2 miles north and 2 miles west of Alda in central Nebraska on Husker Highway.

Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for ages 13-17, and ages 12 and under are admitted free. The public is welcome. Discounted advance adult admission tickets are available on the show's website, www.HuskerHarvestDays.com.
