At least one person has died in an Interstate 80 crash in western Nebraska.
Westbound lanes on I-80 were closed after a multiple vehicle accident occurred Sunday morning.
A Cheyenne County sheriff's dispatcher says the
lanes were closed near the Bronson exit four miles west of Sidney, and
motorists were being diverted onto U.S. Highway 30.
Reports from users
of the website accident.com indicate that the crashes involved semis
and other vehicles, and it produced black smoke and flames.
The accidents occurred around 4:20 a.m. and the
emergency responders were still cleaning things up at 7 a.m.
