A Norfolk man accused of attacking a woman with a vacuum cleaner has been arrested.
Marvin Wallace, 34, of Norfolk, was arrested after police responded to a report of a
crash late Saturday night.
The
woman involved in the crash told police that Wallace had just attacked her. She said he had pulled her wig and hair extensions
from her head, then swung a vacuum cleaner at her, hitting her in the
face.
The woman said Wallace swung the vacuum a second time, hitting her and her 6-year-old child in the arm.
Police Chief Bill Mizner says Wallace was arrested on suspicion of third-degree domestic assault and child abuse.
