Brady Man Killed in Crash - KHGI-TV/KWNB-TV/KHGI-CD-Grand Island, Kearney, Hastings

A western Nebraska man is dead following a single-vehicle crash southeast of Brady.

Lincoln County Chief Deputy Sheriff Roland Kramer says that Monte Hueftle, 39, of Brady, died in the Tuesday afternoon crash.

Kramer says a driver's side tire on Hueftle's pickup blew out, pulling him into a ditch. He says the truck did not roll, but hit at least two trees before stopping. Hueftle was partially ejected from the truck in the crash and died at the scene.

Kramer says Hueftle was not wearing a seat belt.
