World's Largest Truck Convoy Rolls into Hastings - KHGI-TV/KWNB-TV/KHGI-CD-Grand Island, Kearney, Hastings

Semi trucks from all over the nation roll into Hastings on Friday as they prepare for the world's largest truck convoy.

The Hastings Police Department, Nebraska State Patrol, Adams County Sheriff's Office and other local law enforcement agencies are sponsoring this event.

Officers will escort the world's largest truck convoy from Hastings, Neb. to Grand Island, Neb. via Hwy 281 to help raise money and awareness for Special Olympics.

All funds raised from the event will benefit Nebraska Special Olympics Athletes.

Running Friday through Saturday, the truck convoy will start at the Smith Softball Complex in Hastings and end at the Bosselman Travel Center in Grand Island.
