Temps are falling, and that means hunting season isn't too far behind.
This weekend, Cabela's hosts its gun buying event to help new and seasoned hunters gear up for their next hunting trip.
Not only do customers learn useful information and get special deals from different organizations, but by trading in, allows others to get people started in the sport of hunting.
"The thing is they wear out, another thing is that you may have had that gun for some time and you're just wanting to upgrade," said Cabela's product specialist Randy Wilson. "But some say you may have too many and you need to get rid of a few so this is an opportunity to do that and earn a little extra back."
"I think everyone benefits, it's a win-win situation. People get a new firearm, an updated firearm, something new they can learn with," said NRA's Randy May. "Then there will be older firearms that people that are just getting started can get it for less price."
This weekend included booths and special savings events with NRA, National Wild Turkey Federation and carry conceal information.
