A community event brings people together to unite in faith and entertainment.
Yanney Park's Cope Amphitheater was filled with families, fun and worship Saturday during the second annual "Praisefest."
It started with two people's passion for praise music and has already grown from last year's inaugural event; bringing all denominations together to enjoy the day and focus on faith.
"Churches don't have to be segregated just by themselves, but we can all come together and have a great time," said Praisefest committee member Angee Hock. "We're wanting to reach out in the community and just to love people."
More than 500 people attended Saturday's "Praisefest", and officials hope to keep this as an annual event.
