York Woman Dies in One-Vehicle Accident - KHGI-TV/KWNB-TV/KHGI-CD-Grand Island, Kearney, Hastings

Authorities say a 19-year-old York woman has died after her car slammed into a utility pole along-side the road.

The York County Sheriff's Department says Natasha Carranza was driving south on U.S. Highway 81 when her car crossed the highway median and hit the pole.

The accident occurred about 8:25 p.m. Saturday about three miles north of the county line.

Carranza was pronounced dead at the scene.
