Graham crackers are a firm cracker and are perfect to use for your holiday cut-out cookies and to use as "edible" ornaments to hang during the holidays.
Bake: Preheated 350 degrees oven
Time: 12-15 minutes
Makes: 50 crackers
In a small bowl, stir together with a wire whisk, then set aside:
In a mixer bowl with the wire whip, combine:
Blend the ingredients together.
Add to the flour mixture:
Mix on low or stir until the flour has the appearance of small peas.
Then add, all at once: above honey-milk mixture.
Toss with a fork until well blended. Form into a ball. If the dough is too dry, sprinkle a small amount of water on the dough until you can form a ball.
Divide the dough in half. Sprinkle the surface with additional Graham flour. Roll each half of dough into 1/8-inch thickness. Use any of your favorite holiday cut-outs. If you want to make Graham crackers, use your pizza cutter and cut the dough into 2-inch squares and place on an ungreased cookie sheet. Prick each square twice with tines of a fork.
Bake until lightly browned on the edge. Cool completely on a wire rack.
