Pinnacle Bank announced Wednesday that a deal to buy Hastings State Bank has been reached.
Terms of the deal that is expected to be completed by the end of the year have not been disclosed.
Hastings State Bank is based in Hastings and has $139 million in assets and seven branches.
Pinnacle Bank is based in Lincoln and is part of Pinnacle Bancorp, which is based in
Omaha. It is a $6.7 billion financial holding company that operates 127
community bank branches in eight states.
Pinnacle Bank also just announced Tuesday that it had agreed to buy First
State Bank of Joplin,
Mo. Both banks will become part of Pinnacle Bank.
