All Members Gain Access to Broadened Services
WAUKESHA, WI, PLYMOUTH, MN, PALATINE, IL and MOLINE, IL (PRWEB) October 12, 2012
MRA, a not-for-profit employer association, announced today it has become the parent organization to the Minnesota-based not-for-profit employer association, Trusight, Inc. Trusight, now a division of MRA, was formed in 1936 as Associated Industries of Minneapolis and has a history of dedicated member service. Both MRA and Trusight are members of Employer Associations of America, the national organization for employer associations.
MRA is one of the largest employer associations in the nation. With this union, the organization serves 3000 member companies and over 4000 businesses based in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Illinois, and Iowa that employ 800,000 people in the U.S. and abroad. Since 1901, MRA has provided human resources and business expertise, training, and tools to its member companies.
Organizations join MRA or Trusight as corporate members and receive access to expert guidance, best practices, professionally facilitated roundtables, essential tools, and dozens of business services in the areas of human resources, training and lean operations. MRA and Trusight also work with non-member businesses to help create powerful workplaces.
“MRA is pleased to welcome the staff and the member companies of Trusight to the MRA family,” commented Susan Fronk, President and CEO of MRA. Ms. Fronk added, “As the organizations unite, the members and staff gain access to a broader set of service offerings and expertise. Our combined strengths translate into greater opportunities for our members to grow effectively and profitably.”
Specifically, MRA has added to its already robust offerings the specialties of labor relations and public sector expertise and will now host one additional national employer survey. Trusight’s members will continue to benefit from human resources and management guidance and assistance with day-to-day functions and have now gained access to additional specialized staff, MRA’s 24/7 management hotline, and expanded training and onsite member assistance.
Ms. Fronk noted that all MRA and Trusight members will experience seamless delivery of services during and after the integration of the two organizations.
Patricia Staaden, MRA’s Vice President since 1994, has been appointed Chief Operating Officer of Trusight. Ms. Staaden brings 25 years of management and human resources experience to her role as COO and commented, “Today I’d like to extend a ‘thank you’ to all of the committed staff for their ongoing focus of delivering first-rate experiences to Trusight’s members.”
Ms. Staaden highlighted the following new benefits immediately available to Trusight’s members:
Trusight, Inc., a division of the 111-year-old not-for-profit MRA, was formed in 1936 as Associated Industries of Minneapolis to improve employer-employee relations. Over the years, the organization grew and in October 2012, MRA became the parent company to Trusight. As an employer association, today Trusight’s mission is to support the growth of Midwestern businesses by providing company leaders with human resources and management expertise and tools, and assistance with day-to-day human resources functions. These services are delivered to Minnesota-, Iowa-, and Wisconsin-based companies through membership, training, and direct help.
