Man Missing After Falling Into Missouri River - KHGI-TV/KWNB-TV/KHGI-CD-Grand Island, Kearney, Hastings

A missing boater has investigators searching along the banks of the Missouri River.

The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission said the unidentified man was trying to anchor a boat on Saturday morning when the anchor's rope pulled the missing man and a passenger overboard.

The passenger was able to climb back into the boat but the man working with the anchor never resurfaced.

The Dixon County Sheriff's office was called for assistance.
