Scholarships, tuition and college applications can be stressful for high schoolers, but a Kearney group is offering tips to make things a little easier.
'Show Me The Money"...that's the focus of Sunday's conference.
This scholarship workshop shows students and parents how to easily find the resources they need before graduation; like money they may not know is out there, and be better prepared for college.
"I think lots of times they don't know exactly what they're in for, then they get so stressed out at the end of the year because they didn't prepare," said Youth Advisory Board member Madi Casper. "So I think this is really good for high school students because it teaches them how to prepare for their senior year and so you're ready."
It's the second year for the conference which brought in over 100 students from across the state and was sponsored by the Buffalo County Youth Advisory Board.
