Drought Lowers Nebraska Corn Crop Projection - KHGI-TV/KWNB-TV/KHGI-CD-Grand Island, Kearney, Hastings

The U.S. Agriculture Department has lowered its predictions for the drought–stunted corn crops in Iowa and Nebraska.

The USDA says that, based on November conditions, it expects a Nebraska crop of one and a quarter billion bushels. That's down more than two-percent from the October forecast.

The Nebraska soybean crop forecast held steady at 203 million bushels, the same figure as October.
